On these pages you can play with the PatternCatch. There is a gallery of designs underneath. Hover on any one to see a larger image, and click on any of them to play it.

To make a wheel rotate, move your mouse to the space just above or below one of the pins. You will see the finbar appear. Click on it. All wheels with a pin in the same position will move by one cell, upwards or downwards. The ones that go off at the bottom come on again at the top and vice versa.

There is a reset button and a move counter. Each puzzle line has a number against it showing the minimum number of moves you can aim for to complete that line. There will be a move recorder, so you can see how you got into the mess you are in, not yet developed. There is not an option to go back one move if you change your mind. Unlike the leading brand of puzzle, moves are not always reversible on the PatternCatch. You can always reset.

At the moment all designs have the same pin arrangement, but that doesn't mean they are all equally easy, or difficult. The arrangement of the cells is different in each case, which makes the target positions more or less accessible.
